Due to reasons such as population growth, industrialization and urbanization all over the world, the areas of use of natural resources have expanded and the pressure on these natural resources has gradually increased. Especially with the excessive and unplanned use of natural resources, serious environmental problems have emerged, living species have started to disappear, the natural balance has changed, and ecosystems in which many living things, including humans live, have started to deteriorate. National parks and nature parks play an important role in the protection and sustainable use of natural areas. These parks have strategic importance for the conservation of biodiversity, sustainability of ecosystems and management of natural resources. They are also important resources for recreation, education and scientific purposes. Through national parks and nature parks, it is aimed to leave a clean and healthy environment to future generations by developing love for nature and environmental awareness.
