Violence against healthcare workers (HWs) poses significant challenges to healthcare systems globally, affecting both the physical and psychological well-being of workers and compromising the quality of care provided. By introducing the violence prevention strategies implemented by different countries, this chapter aims to provide an international perspective on the matter. Additionally, it underscores the importance of ensuring the safety of healthcare workers and maintaining the quality of healthcare services. Through focusing on solutions, it aims to support efforts to prevent violence against healthcare workers and to inform and mobilize policymakers, healthcare institutions, and the general public.
