Her work areas include the women health, migrant heatlh, reproductive health and children with special needs. She has made speeches at many congresses and served as panel chairman. She is currently the head of the Nursing Department of the Faculty of Health Sciences.

3Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hıdır SARI graduated from Akdeniz University Faculty of Medicine and completed his specialty training at Uludağ University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Public Health. He also received his undergraduate degree in Law at the International University of Travnik, Bosnia and Herzegovina. During his specialty training, he took part in the Public Health Working Group of the Turkish Medical Association. He worked as a general practitioner in Batman Tuberculosis Dispensary, and while he was a Public Health Specialist, he held important managerial positions in Diyarbakır Provincial Health Directorate, such as IT and Statistics Branch Manager, Deputy Provincial Health Director and Acting Provincial Health Director. He also served as a Public Health Specialist at the Communicable Diseases Unit and Community Health Center. He worked as Medical Director and Chief Physician in private hospitals. Continuing his academic career as a faculty member in the Department of Public Health at Dicle University Faculty of Medicine, he also served as Deputy Chief Physician at Dicle University Medical Faculty Hospital. He is currently working as an Associate Professor in the same Department. His interests include public health, health management, law, health care cost, epidemiology, occupational health and safety. He has participated in many national and international training programs for healthcare professionals. In his more than 24 years of professional career, he has worked as a manager at various levels of health management for about 12 years. He has national and international scientific research articles, oral presentations and national book chapter authorship. He is a member of the Turkish Medical Association and the Association of Public Health Specialists.
