3Assoc. Professor İbrahim Ethem Özsoy graduated from Eskişehir Osmangazi University Faculty of Medicine in 1998. He completed his thoracic surgery specialization training at Fırat University Faculty of Medicine in 2009. In 2021, he became an associate professor. He is currently continuing his academic studies, primarily focusing on lung cancers, in the Department of Thoracic Surgery at the Kayseri Faculty of Medicine, University of Health Sciences Türkiye. He has authored numerous original research articles and scientific book chapters in his field.

3Dr. Mehmet Akif Ekici is a thoracic surgery specialist with a distinguished medical career. After graduating from Erciyes University Faculty of Medicine in 2006, he completed his thoracic surgery residency at Gaziantep University from 2017 to 2022. Since 2022, he has been serving as a thoracic surgery specialist at Kayseri City Hospital. His interests include tracheal stenosis, chest wall tumors, bronhiectasis, hydatid cysts, mediastinal masses, and EBUS. Dr. Ekici’s thesis focused on comparing D-valine effect in tracheal stenosis. He has published on various topics, including sequestration cases, omentum transposition, and spontaneous pneumothorax, continually advancing his expertise in thoracic surgery.
