3Filiz Ekim ÇEVİK, was born in Istanbul. She completed her high school education at Cağaloğlu Anatolian High School. She earned her undergraduate degree at Istanbul University. She completed her master’s degree in forensic genetics at Istanbul University Institute of Forensic Medicine. She pursued her doctoral studies in the field of Biological Psychiatry at Istanbul University Institute of Forensic Medicine, collaborating with Bakırköy Mental Health and Neurological Diseases Training and Research Hospital, Psychiatry Clinic, Forensic Psychiatry Clinic, and Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine Psychiatry Department. Supported by Istanbul University’s Scientific Research Projects Unit, she completed her PhD in December 2016. Her training includes TÜBİTAK Applied Molecular Biology Methods, Istanbul University DETAE (Aziz Sancar Experimental Medicine Research Institute) Laboratory Animal Use, DETAE Diseases’ Molecular Mechanisms, Basic Training in Forensic Document Examination, Expert Witness Training, Istanbul Development Agency Initial Project Cycle Management and Application to Development Agencies Training, and Istanbul University Good Clinical Practice and Basic Clinical Research Training. Additionally, she received postgraduate education in Criminal Psychology and Criminology in the UK. She has numerous publications and presentations in international and national journals, and has been involved as a researcher and consultant in various projects. She serves as a referee and panelist, and has authored the book "Scientific Research Methods and Publication Ethics". She continues his studies in the fields of Legal Medicine and Forensic Sciences in a multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary manner. She works as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Medical Sciences at Istanbul University-Cerrahpaşa Institute of Legal Medicine and Forensic Sciences.

3Dursun KIRBAŞ, was born in 1951 in Bafra district of Samsun. He completed his high school education at Kastamonu Abdurrahman Paşa High School. He graduated from Istanbul University-Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine in 1976, where he enrolled in 1970. He completed his military service at Diyarbakır Military Hospital. He later continued his education as a resident at Şişli Etfal Hospital Neurology Clinic (1977-1980). From 1982 to 1992, he worked as chief resident and assistant chief at Okmeydanı, Vakıf Gureba, and Şişli Etfal Training and Research Hospitals Neurology Clinics. In 1992, he established the 3rd Neurology Clinic at Bakırköy Mental and Neurological Diseases Hospital and served as its Chief until 2012. During this time, he also acted as interim chief at Haseki Training and Research Hospital from 1992 to 1995. From 2012 to 2013, he was an instructor and responsible for the Neurology Clinic at Erenköy Mental and Neurological Diseases Training and Research Hospital. In 2013, he was appointed as a professor at Istanbul University’s Institute of Forensic Medicine. He retired from his position at the Institute of Forensic Medicine in early 2018. Subsequently, he assumed the roles of neurology professor and head of the Neurology Department at Istanbul Yeni Yüzyıl University Faculty of Medicine Gaziosmanpaşa Hospital, where he served for nearly three years. Since late 2020, he has been working at the neurology clinic of İstinye University Hospital Gaziosmanpaşa Medicalpark Hospital. Some of the professional organizations that Dr. Kırbaş is a member of include: Turkish Neurology Association, Turkish Society of Clinical Neurophysiology (Founder of Istanbul Chapter), Multiple Sclerosis Society of Turkey (Co-founder and Vice President), Society of Cerebrovascular Diseases (Founding Member), Turkey Neurological Sciences Foundation (Board Member and Founding President), and World Federation of Neurology. In 1994, he chaired the World Health Organization’s meeting on "Neurology and Public Health". Additionally, he is a founding member of The Mediterranean Stroke Society and a member of the American Academy of Neurology. He serves as a member of the Scientific Committee and Turkey’s representative for Neuromediterranea. In 2004, he chaired Neuromediterranea VI held in Istanbul. Dr. Dursun Kırbaş served as the President of the National Neurology Congress in 1996 and contributed to the scientific organization of 15 national symposiums organized by the Turkey Neurological Sciences Foundation (NÖBİVA). He has authored two monographs, "History of Neurology in Turkey" and "Neurology Congresses in Turkey", as well as editorial books including "Neurological Diseases in Primary Care", "Neuropsychiatry", "Neurology and Public Health", and "Forensic Neuropsychiatry". His works also include "Scientific Research Methods and Publication Ethics" and "Neurology in Clinical Practice".
