    In this section, the radiological findings of brain tumors have been discussed, along with case examples. The importance of MRI, which is the fundamental radiological modality in the diagnosis of brain tumors, is increasing day by day. The continuous development of advanced MRI techniques allows for a safer diagnosis of these tumors with each passing day. Providing accurate information about the tumor to neurosurgeons performing surgical treatment of brain tumors, radiation oncologists performing radiotherapy, and medical oncologists performing medical treatments has become increasingly important, and the level of knowledge about conventional and advanced neuroradiological techniques has become crucial.

    3Associate Professor Faysal Ekici was born in Batman. He graduated from Dicle University Faculty of Medicine in 1995. He completed his residency training in the radiology department of the same university in 2002, after starting in 1997, and became a Radiology specialist. He began his academic career as an Assistant Professor in the radiology department of Dicle University Faculty of Medicine in 2009. He obtained the title of Associate Professor in 2013. Since 2009, he has been working in the neuroradiology department. He holds a subspecialty diploma in neuroradiology awarded by the Turkish Neuroradiology Society. He has around 50 scientific articles published in national and international journals, most of which are related to neuroradiology. His publications have been cited hundreds of times.
