    Complementary and alternative modalities can be integrated into the contemporary modern medical treatments. Phytotherapy is one of the most frequently used treatment methods, especially by cancer patients. It is very important to follow the strict scientific methods which are applied to in the modern medical studies in the studies related to complementary and medicine. It is also shown that some drugs which are extracted from different medicinal herbs, have anticancer effects via different mechanisms.
