This chapter examines the significance and applications of water harvesting techniques in fruit production in the context of climate change. The utilisation of water harvesting techniques is becoming increasingly crucial in order to mitigate the adverse effects of climate change on fruit production. In Turkey, particularly in semi-arid regions, rainwater harvesting plays a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient and sustainable utilisation of water resources. Water harvesting methods provide environmental and economic benefits by reducing soil erosion, conserving soil moisture and recharging groundwater resources. Furthermore, they enhance the resilience of local communities and facilitate rural development. This study examines the utilisation of diverse water harvesting techniques in fruit production and their impact on productivity. The findings demonstrate that water harvesting techniques are efficacious in augmenting fruit yield and conserving water resources.
