    3Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tahir Çakır is a scientist with a professional career spanning over twenty-five years and original contributions in the field of medical application of radiation physics. His work has led to the publication of more than 57 research articles, oral and poster presentations, and reviews, as well as 7 research projects. He has held prestigious positions in academia, including Vice-Dean of the Medical Faculty at Van Yüzüncü Yıl University, member of the Scientific Research Projects Commission, and Chief Medical Education Coordinator. Dr. Çakır holds a national patent partnership on boron carrier synthesis for Boron Neutron Capture Therapy. He is currently working at Van Yüzüncü Yıl University Medical Faculty, in the Department of Biophysics, as well as in the Department of Radiation Oncology.

    3Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nina Tunçel has built a distinguished career in the medical application of radiation physics, contributing significantly to her field over a span of more than twenty-five years. Her work has led to the publication of over 100 research articles, oral and poster presentations, and reviews. Dr. Tunçel has also been involved in numerous research projects throughout her career. She has held various academic positions at Akdeniz University. She has been a part of the Faculty of Science in the Physics Department and has worked closely with the Medical Faculty, particularly within the Department of Radiation Oncology. Her interdisciplinary approach has bridged the gap between physics and medical applications, underscoring her pivotal role in advancing the field of radiation physics in medicine.
