In recent years, our knowledge has increased within the scope of research on the molecular basis of diseases. With the use of the growing information in both Medical Biology and Medical Genetics, diseases caused by cellular and chromosomal changes, especially those with a genetic basis, are being understood and treated. This book, written with this context in mind, encompasses all topics under the main heading of "Medical Biology," ranging from the origins of life to mechanisms of cell death. Under the main heading of "Genetics," it provides a comprehensive overview that starts with the structure of DNA and RNA and includes topics such as the characteristics of the genetic code, mutations, and inheritance patterns. The difference of our book from its counterparts written so far; In the second part, it includes especially molecular genetic applications and practical applications step by step. The topics of Medical Biology and Genetics are covered in a total of 14 chapters, with 7 chapters dedicated to practical applications. It has been prepared in accordance with the curriculum of the relevant boards of Medical Faculties and also can be used as a textbook by faculties of Health Sciences, Nursing, and Dentistry, serving as a resource for graduate students and all researchers.
