3Dr. Fatma Tortum completed her specialization training in Emergency Medicine at the Faculty of Medicine, Atatürk University, in 2017, and worked as an emergency medicine specialist at the Turkish Ministry of Health. Since 2021, she has been working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Emergency Medicine at the Faculty of Medicine, Atatürk University. Her research focuses on resuscitation, trauma, advanced cardiac life support training, and pulmonary emergencies. She has publications and book chapters on various topics related to emergency medicine. Dr. Tortum has gone many national and international congresses, and organized congresses, symposiums, and courses in her academic career. She continues her work in the same department.

3Prof. Dr. Zeynep GÖKCAN ÇAKIR is an emergency medicine specialist, academician, and head of the department at Erzurum Atatürk University, Department of Emergency Medicine. She has spent twenty-four years of her twenty-eight year career working in academic emergency medicine. Having eighty-two articles in SCI and SCI-E journals and forty-eight articles in national refeered journals, Dr. Gökcan Çakır served as editor in thirteen books in the field of Emergency Medicine and wrote chapters in 24 books. Prof. Dr. Zeynep Gökcan Çakır has co-chaired many national and international congresses, and organized around a hundred congresses, symposiums, and courses. Prof. Dr. Gökcan Çakır, who has been particularly interested in the problems of Emergency Medicine Specialists and all emergency workers in Turkey since the beginning of her academic life, has served as a member and an accounting member of the Board of Directors of the Emergency Medicine Physicians Association of Turkey (EPAT) since 2009 and is currently the vice president of the same association.
